I’m on TikTok

I am an elder-millenial, which means I desperately want to keep up with the latest trends and apps… but I’m also exhausted, running on caffeine, and trying to fit my yearly rewatch of Gilmore Girls into my already busy schedule.

In spite of this… I’ve joined TikTok and created an author account (using my online handle ‘sammowrimo’), and for the entire month of December I’ll be spending the time I tend to set aside for Instagram over on what we elders call The Clock App.

It’s a fun experiment and as someone who gets bored and discombobulated very often, the change of pace, format, and expectations feels refreshing right now. We will, of course see how long that remains the case but for now I am excited about turning my hand to creating videos and trying to do what we indie authors spend all of our free time doing… trying to figure out how the hell to sell our books!
